About the show

Ryan travels to the sea of Cortez to join an expedition of scientists trying to unravel the mysteries of the deep. Here, one of the most awe inspiring predatory battles occurs between the world’s largest predator – the sperm whale, and the giant Humboldt squid! Yet this battle of the giants goes unobserved as it occurs 200 meters below the surface of the ocean. Using sophisticated cameras, the team attempts to attach a camera to the sperm whale, so that the unlikely cameraman may capture footage of this epic battle.
